Sein Debüt (be Fresh Sound – hier erschienen auch die Debüts von Ambrose Akinmusire und Avishai Cohen) wurde von All About Jazz als „stratosphärische Flugbahn“ beschrieben. Der Name des Albums geht auf eine Zeile in Haruki Murakamis Roman Sputnik Sweetheart von 1999 zurück: „We’re both looking at the same moon, in the same world. We’re connected to reality by the same line. All I have to do is quietly draw it towards me.“
