Dario Bassolino is a pianist, producer and composer born in Naples, where he currently lives.
Raised and educated in classical music, he's always been influenced by Italian film soundtracks, especially from the 70s and 80s: Disco, Jazz Funk, Latin and Funk Rock are his main genres.His deep roots in the Neapolitan culture made him dive into this in this very new mix and shades of sounds.

Bassolino's debut album 'Città Futura', released in March 2 0 2 4 on Periodica and Jakarta Records, was featured in Billboard Italia and Delicieuse Musique. It has also received support from CRACK, Somewhere Soul, My Analog Journal and Rhythm Passport.

Radio support from Tom Ravenscroft BBC6 Music New Music Fix (UK), Mike Gurrieri's Mystic Brew PBS Radio Melbourne (AUS), Raffaele Costantino's Musical Box Rai Radio 2 (IT), Colectivo Futuro & Handson Family on Soho Radio (UK) plus spot plays on Radio Raheem (IT) & WDR Cosmo (GR) to name but a few.

Bassolino's live show has a very organic form. Inspired by jazz, funk and disco improvisation, he has extensive experience as a session musician at prestigious festivals such as Primavera Sound, Montreux Jazz Festival, Dour Festival and We Out Here.

Collaborations: Nu Genea, Jason Lindner, Nicola Conte, System Olympia, Habibi Funk, LNDFK, Pellegrino and Zodyaco and many more.
