Der in Brooklyn lebende Saxophonist und Komponist Tobias Meinhart zählt zu den markantesten Stimmen des zeitgenössischen Jazz. Ausgezeichnet als Rising Star im DownBeat Critics Poll, verbindet er in seiner Musik die Energie der New Yorker Szene mit europäischer Klangästhetik, erzählerischer Tiefe und einem ausgeprägten Groove-Gefühl.
Mit seinem aktuellen Projekt Light & Shadow präsentiert Meinhart ein Quartett von außergewöhnlicher musikalischer Präsenz.
